1) Access the battery from the side covers or under the seat. Now disconnect the (black-Negative) battery terminal first to avoid fire hazard.

2 The LED’s are polarity sensitive. This means the Red wire on the LED must connect to the positive (RED) terminal.  Black wire must connect to the negative (BLACK) terminal. The LED lights cannot be run in series.  That means all positive (RED) wires connect to a common positive power wire. All (ground/negative black) wires must connect to a common ground.

3) Locate a position for the switch. IMPORTANT You will need easy access to the switch after the seat and/or side covers are back on bike. Using the double-sided tape & Promoter Pad, secure the switch in place.

4) Locate a mounting position for the LED lights that offers the LARGEST overall lighting effects and coverage.  If needed use the enclosed wire and the shrink tubing provided to add additional wire to the LED Units that will allow all wire to meet at a centralized point of your choice. IMPORTANT MAKE SURE ALL CONNECTIONS ARE FIRMLY TWISTED TOGETHER, AND ENOUGH WIRE IS LEFT TO ROUTE OUT OF SITE WHEN COMPLETED. The 3M shrink-wrap provided contains special glue that melts and bonds the wires together for a watertight seal.

5 We recommend cleaning  the mounting area with Isopropyl alcohol first. Use the enclosed 3M Promoter Pack to prime the area that you have just cleaned. Now remove the tape backing and firmly press down onto the prepped area.  ***Note***Make sure LED Pods are pointing in desired direction before you press into place.

6) Run all the led wires to a central point, usually under the seat. Make sure that you leave enough length of wire to route them out of site. Make sure that they are not going to get too hot or get caught in a moving part.  You will also want to leave a little extra for striping the black outer sheathing off. Strip off about 2” of the outer black sheathing.  Now strip off about 1” of the red & black 22 gauge sheathing. Do this to all of the wires remaining. You will need to twist all of the red wires together, and also twist all of the black wires together.

7) Now take either one of the two wires coming out of the switch and connect that wire to the red wires that you twisted together using one of the connector blocks provided this will be the positive block use separate holes if necessary.

8) Connect the remaining wire from switch to one end of the fuse holder provided in your kit using the larger of the two shrink tubing now connect the other end of the fuse holder wire to the battery positive (RED) terminal.

9) Next connect the black ground lead wire  to the battery (negative BLACK) post . Reconnect the bikes (negative BLACK) battery cable at this time now connect all black wires using the second connector block

10) All of the red wires from the LED lights will be locked into the positive connector block and all of the black wires from the LED lights will be locked into the negative connector block.

11) Push the switch and check out your Ride.
